The Challenge

While Duken & v. Wangenheim's reputation and success continued, the company's digital presence was not up to its own standards of excellence, and the website had become outdated. The UX was bumpy and navigation was not user friendly, the visual design failed to communicate the core values, and the website technology was outdated. A significant pain point was poor responsiveness, which dramatically affected performance as the majority of visits come from mobile devices.

The challenge our team faced was to redesign the UX/UI to comply with best practices and design trends while ensuring accessibility for the older demographics who constitute a still significant section of the client base. We knew that critical emphasis would need to be placed on mobile design. The visual design also needed to emphasize aesthetic sophistication and precision. In terms of technology, the client sought a cost-effective and easy-to-manage solution that would integrate seamlessly with their existing in-house maintained CRM.
